Wi-Fi connection
Seafy offers different types of Wi-Fi plans to choose from. Depending on your needs you can buy online, onboard the ship or from home, or in cash at the reception desk on board, or by purchasing a scratch card at the ship's bar. Package prices may vary by the shipping company and according to company commercial logic.
For crew members, there is a unique package with a dedicated and exclusive offer. If you belong to this type of user, read more in the "Crew" section.
All Wi-Fi plans are subject to expiration date: they are valid for a maximum of six months after issue. After the expiration date, you will no longer be able to activate them or request a refund in the event of a service disruption.

Seafy offers a range of possibilities to purchase your Wi-Fi plan. You can visit the dedicated section on seafy.com and choose to purchase from the comfort of your own home. If you are already traveling, you can buy directly from the on-board portal, which you can access by connecting to the Wi-Fi network on your ship, or you can contact the reception desk operator on board each ship, from whom you can also buy a package or scratch card in cash.
You can also choose to purchase your Wi-Fi package directly when purchasing your travel ticket on the partner company's website. Product prices may be subject to promotions or discounts depending on the platform on which you decide to purchase. The service can be activated and used from the Seafy portal on board the ship by entering the code of the package purchased through the various channels listed above.
You can view your purchased Wi-Fi plan in the following ways:
- If you purchased through the seafy.com website, by logging into your personal account on the Seafy onboard portal, you will find your purchased Wi-Fi plan in the specific section "Your purchases". In this section, you can check the status and conditions of your package (online, inactive, expired) and proceed to its activation.
- Download the PDF file you received by e-mail immediately after purchasing a package where, in addition to the code to activate, you will find all the information about the package you purchased. If you have purchased a Seafy package or scratch card from the reception desk onboard the ship, you will have a code to activate after logging on to the onboard portal.
- If you have decided to purchase a Wi-Fi package on the shipping company's website, you will receive your code by e-mail as a PDF file to activate on board with your ticket.
You can decide whether to take the printed document with you or save it on your device.
Please note that you will not be able to access your e-mails or other online services onboard the ship until you have activated your Wi-Fi code. We, therefore, recommend that you have your code to hand (paper or virtual) so that you do not incur additional costs from your telephone operator to retrieve it.
Once connected to the Seafy portal, you can activate the code corresponding to the purchased package. The Wi-Fi connection will be active, and you will be able to use the services included in your package. Each code is unique and corresponds to a single package purchased. The code is a numerical value consisting of 8/16 digits.
Remember that each code can only be activated once, lasting for the entire duration of your trip. The Wi-Fi code can only be used on one device at a time. We advise you not to hand over your code. Otherwise, you will lose all rights usage and refund rights, even if it's lost or stolen.
Once you are on board, it is essential to set all your devices to "airplane mode" to avoid additional costs from your telephone company.
To activate a Wi-Fi plan follow the instructions below:
- Once you connect to the Seafy Wi-Fi network, go to the Seafy onboard portal. Click on "Activate Wi-Fi" where you can decide whether to enter the code manually or to access your account and activate it from the "Your purchases" section (if you have purchased by accessing your Seafy account).
If you have purchased several Wi-Fi plans from your account, remember that each code is unique, and you can apply it to one device at a time. Meaning that if a Wi-Fi plan was supposed to be used by several people traveling with you, each one of them has to provide a different code per person.
VPN connections are not supported for privacy and security.
If you have purchased a Seafy scratch card on the premises on board the ship, to activate it simply enter the 16-digit numerical code on the Seafy portal and click "Activate package".
In the event that you are unable to use your package due to technical connectivity issues, you will be able to request a refund.
Send us an email to support@seafy.com or go to the "Contact us" section on the website and explain the problem: a team of experts will evaluate your request and proceed with the refund, if applicable.
If you have a discount code to apply to your purchases on Seafy, you can use it by entering it on the "Shopping Cart" page in the specific box "I have a discount code". If it is valid, you will see the discount applied to your total directly in the cart summary.
You can only use one discount code per purchase. At the moment the discount codes can only be used when purchasing through the www.seafy.com website and the on-board portal. It is not possible to use them when purchasing from the ship's reception desk.
