Mega Regina, the new ferry from Corsica Ferries

The Mega Regina is the new ship in the Corsica Sardinia Ferries fleet.

As the ship arrives at the Port of Vado Ligure - Savona, it will be ready to enter service at the end of June to connect with several islands. It is equipped with filters to reduce nitrogen oxide emanations by 60%. Fully furnished with a power supply from the docks, the ship will have the lowest fuel consumption per load of the entire fleet.

The Mega Regina has a unique focus on pets. It has 840 cabins total, including external, internal, and luxury, equipped with maximum comfort with a dog-friendly compartment for passengers with four-legged friends.

Fully renovated two years ago, the Mega Regina will provide crossings to Corsica, Sardinia, and the Balearic Islands. The ferry will depart from Finland, where it had previously operated, to reach the Mediterranean and set off from the summer of 2021. With its 177 meters long, 28 meters wide, and six operable decks, the new Mega Regina ferry has a capacity for 2,500 passengers and reaches a cruising speed of 20.5 knots. “The new ship will touch many ports and will serve almost all the lines of the company - explains Pierre Mattei, president of Corsica Sardinia Ferries - along with the other units and according to the needs of the rapidly evolving market.”
