Eleonora, Assistant Commissaire for Corsica - Sardinia Ferries, talks about Seafy and how the onboard Wi-Fi service has evolved.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Eleonora Parrella, Assistant Commissaire at Corsica Ferries, who shared her experience with the Seafy onboard Wi-Fi service. Here’s what she told us:
Hi Eleonora, how long have you been working in the industry? My name is Eleonora Parrella and I’ve been working for Corsica Ferries as an Assistant Commissaire for about four years.
What was it like on board before Seafy arrived? I joined the company in the summer of 2022 and Seafy was already available for both passengers and crew. Over the years, the service has improved a lot.
And what is it like now? The internet connection is reliable, increasingly intuitive and faster. It’s a real resource at sea to stay connected with the world on land. Passengers love it: both younger and older travelers purchase the service at the desk, while more tech-savvy passengers buy it independently or even add it directly during the booking process.
How does it feel to be among the top Seafy sellers in the fleet? I’m grateful to be among the top sellers. I really care about passengers’ well-being during the crossing and I’m always ready to help in case of any issues. I often interact with the support team and I must say they are always very helpful in solving problems.
In your opinion, what do passengers appreciate most about the service? Those who work remotely, those who need to stay connected with the world, younger passengers who can’t do without the internet, or those who simply want to relax during the journey… Seafy offers different packages that meet the needs of every type of passenger.
